Ward with V dots by B+P Architects, New Taipei City – Taiwan

The features of the ward room space were kept through the white box and black V placed in the old ward rooms. The space is split into two areas, one is the bean product factory and the other is restaurant. The white box is the factory and a set of black V framework builds up a new space. People may see through the V and box to observe the production status in the white box. And the V can separate the seats in the restaurant from the service area.

The three-storey work area is suspended off the ground held up by a lightweight steel structure clamped to the blind walls of the adjacent constructs, leaving the walkway underneath accessible to the public.

Joyce – The Lee Gardens by CASE-REAL, Hong Kong

Drawing from the diverse context of Hong Kong, the design was influenced by the notion of ‘unintentionally formed urban space’; a microcosm that is found all throughout the city. The unconventionally-shaped floor plan of the shop was condensed and reduced into a three-dimensional volume that tapers and curves to mirror the natural flow of the space.

For the first store we designed for Via Venetto, a 30-year old shoe retail store, the brief was to give it a new contemporary image to recapture its market. We therefore tried to find a balance between maintaining some of its characteristics and infusing them with newer, more contemporary forms.

Numero bar was built on a very narrow and long strip of land in the Jardins area, in São Paulo. A walkway runs from the street through a hallway/tunnel fully covered in mirrors, leading to the main hall.
