Elysium window displays by You_Lab, Odessa – Ukraine

Ornament of color waves, repeating the shape of a blossoming flower, created a multi-level composition. The construction is made of 17 layers of plastic of different colors, fastened together. It creates a volume that focuses in the center and attracts into the space of the store.

These seven monolithic and monochrome ‘Houses’ conceived by Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry offer visitors an immersive experience, a dip in color to discover the Hermès home collection. Scenography designed by Hervé Sauvage plays up the graphic symbol of the square with rolls of paper drawn by hand that act as a background to the objects.

Ten desulphurization towers throughout the space contribute a strong visual element in the design. The tin columns – which have acquired a beautiful patina that is used to contrast with the glossy floor surfaces – extend vertically from the interior to the building exterior.

The encasing sequinned walls, made from 30mm silver sequins, brilliantly reflected the dazzling and changing electric colour combinations of NYC taxi cab yellow, tomato red and tungsten blue from the ‘Choupette’ pods and the neon signage used within the scheme, as Karl and Choupette travelled to the city that never sleeps.
