As its name already implies, the ephemeral space takes cues from the disco era during the 1970s and 1980s, and features a mirrored bar setting in glowing pink, replete with stools, and the prerequisite glittering disco balls.

Holler & Dash restaurant by FRCH, Atlanta – Georgia

Within the environment, FRCH created opportunities to reclaim existing features like exposed brick walls and poured concrete flooring as a nod to the industrial origins of the location. The dining room is anchored by custom stained concrete community tables with multi-colored metal stools that boldly express the Holler & Dash color palette and further accent the feature seating.

Called Greybox Coffee, it’s a newly launched division of chinese high-end flower shop Roseonly, and its very first branch has found an appropriate home at Beijing Kerry Centre, one of many glittering high-rise complexes in this high energy part of town. Special attention has been given to the ceiling lighting, comprising of an expansive grid of wooden boxes, each encasing a spotlight.

By working with typical animals of the Brazilian fauna in a playful and spirited way, creating a renewed curiosity about local culture, Steyer heightens the senses with tables shaped as monkeys, anteaters, capybaras, alligators and jaguars.

Mikkeller & Friends Bar by Rum4 and Studio-K, Copenhagen

The design duo used untreated plywood to build a natural, inventive universe. The bar is located in a cellar and yet has been instilled with a light and airy atmosphere thanks to the uncoated wood and the use of a singular colour – a fresh turquoise that spreads across the floors and selected furnishings.
