Casaplata restaurant by Lucas y Hernández-Gil, Seville – Spain

Unadorned concrete becomes a canvas for the unmistakably contemporary character of the space. Over this canvas, Lucas y Hernández-Gil embeds a playful material palette – perforated-metal furniture and large circular light fixtures express a visual language free from local historical context. The furniture, designed by the studio, is grouped in colour tribes of vivid peach, blue and green.

Corten steel for the casting and outline of the concrete paths, and for the wall displays, black gravel and red volcanic gravel for the floor display islands, and bamboo sticks and natural plants as space dividers compose the palette of materials for this space.

Turdetano branding by TSMGO (The show must go on)

We create a system which graphically represents the characteristics of each wine. Inspired by the geometric motifs of Turdetan art, we make use of opposing concepts to create balance. The aging of wines (its absence, in young or semi-crianza wines aging in barrels) is depicted in the background colour on the bottles.
