The concrete walls have been polished so reflecting light bounces off the shiny stone to brighten the space. The walls are partially covered with patchwork Turkish carpets to block noise travel.

SABOTEN cutlet restaurant by DOYLE COLLECTION, Fukuoka

Restaurant SABOTEN offers meals centering on Japanese cutlet. It is located in Canal City Shopping Mall in Hakata, one of the major cities in Japan. For the façade, on the upper wall, we utilized Japanese traditional material called “Sudare” (bamboo blinds that control the amount of light) in order to make surface-emitted boxes.

Matto restaurant by Pure Creative, Shanghai

In Italian, “Matto” is a light-hearted term meaning ‘crazy’ or ‘wild’ and this term embodies the restaurant’s unique personality and sense of fun. Pure Creative’s objective was to design a restaurant in Shanghai where diners could relax, enjoy traditional Italian cuisine and also be wowed and entertained by their interior surroundings.

Rows of interchangeable tiles spell out what’s on the menu at this fast-food pasta outlet in Tel Aviv, designed by Studio OPA as a “tribute to Scrabble”. The tiled menu board above the kitchen and counter is made from oak and bent tin.

The Cumarú Restaurant, located on Nueva Costanera Avenue in Vitacura commune, Santiago de Chile, was born as an assignment regarding materiality. The owners of this restaurant got a big quantity of cumarú timber, which is a wonderful and noble material.

Experimental in concept, Mings Dim Sum is a new gaming and wonton restaurant offer occupying its own exclusive space on Crown’s first floor. Traces of the previous Sante buffet are long gone, except for a wall mural installation by renowned graphic artist, the late David Band.
