This unique “Blonde Chic Feel” lighting showroom was created to showcase its Italian lighting products (which are mainly white in colour). By creating an interior space that is darker in colour, the products would stand out from its environment. The use of darker timbers, colours and bronze mirrors helps create a feeling of warmth and sophistication to the interior space of the showroom.

An antique water pump installed in an alcove can be spotted through the large glazed section of wall facing the street. On entering the store, shoppers walk up a ramp and past a shelf displaying a selection of Aesop products before emerging into the main space behind the veils.

Exposure of products on a white, semi-matt background and good light (metal halide and halide sources) allows easy recognition of the products` color nuances. In contrast, we have added: footstools – soft (padded), in a variety of pastel colors, counter with soft front, extremely deep carpet. We`ve borrowed colors from the brand logo (the logo is not part of our project).
