AK Rikks was first opened in 1986, centered on men’s suits with inventory tracking and bookkeeping done by hand and became a Grand Rapids staple amongst locals. In September of 2012 they opened the doors of their 28,000sq foot location to house both their men’s and now women’s attire and accessories.

At Aesop Shin-Marunouchi, the OSB has been stained with a brown colour to distinguish the store with its neighbours within the bright surrounding environment. The central band of display seen stretched across the back wall binds the store space to a single point of focus, naturally drawing customers towards the products.

The Viktor&Rolf’s Spicebomb Point of Sale launch campaign was designed to follow the originality and masculinity of the actual grenade-shaped product and visual. The idea was to create a high-impact art installation that would be consistent with the luxurious, playful surrealism typical of the brand DNA.

Oasis has opened a new flagship store in London’s West End, designed to be a prominent showcase for the Oasis brand. The store uses the two floors to create a feeling of ‘night and day’, with moving stage lamps that enable the mood to change from day to day and season to season.

Surefoot’s design problem turns on an issue of legibility: They sell a custom fitting process that is unique to the industry, but the store is stocked with rows of intensively patterned and colored boots from immediately recognizable global brands.
