UBT ‘The Precinct’ Coworking Office by Unispace, Sydney – Australia

Unispace delivered a concept for a work environment with a village-like vibe that would form its own community; one where like-minded businesses, including UBT and its clients, could be inspired by each other. The resulting activity based workplace is spread over three floors, with a dedicated floor for coworking.

The aesthetic is clean, sophisticated, and inviting. The richness of natural walnut, upholstered fabrics, and sparkling stainless steel transitions come to life when basked in the abundant natural light. Understated accent colors—comfortable upholstered chairs in soft yellow or off-white, a pattern of muted blue and earth tones for banquettes—are carefully placed to support, but not overwhelm, the expression of wood and stone.

Based on a Mediterranean feelings of holidays, which is swimming, the Lobby was conceptualized to mimic a swimming pool, in which visitors would be submerged under water. To create this illusion, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overheads, looping around the lobby defining different mini-areas within the lobby area.

Rosetta Restaurant, Sydney – Australia

The restaurant is set across three of the building’s lower floors, and boasts an interior design that’s clearly inspired by midcentury aesthetics. The dining area is encased by floor-to-ceiling glass that allows in floods of natural light and provides sweeping city views at the same time. walls covered in vertical wooden slats form the backdrop of a variety of seating arrangements.

The core concept of the project has been the connectivity of the company with its users. The use of perforated shapes and materials that evoke nets, meshes and fabrics together with the use of vibrant colours provided material support to the idea. In line with the model established by the company, floors are organized in open plan and there are no private offices.

The new space provides an extraordinary blueprint for a showroom, its 20-foot ceiling height creates a cube-like dynamic with a 3D feel. Natural light flows into the showroom through a vast expanse of glass that forms an entire wall and offers panoramic views of the Chicago River.

Above this space, we placed the symbolic with imported shining crystal chandelier to enhance our concept of the star and bring fabulous lighting to the property. Along the corridor, we intentionally place lighting in different size and difference direction to mimic the star in the sky.

The space consists of different sales areas defined by geometric shapes that are reflected from the walls through furniture in wooden containers and corten and bronze free standing, while for the floor, a resin with cement effect contrasts marble slabs and parquet.
