Dimension Data Offices by M Moser Associates, Mumbai – India

An example of how the M Moser team instilled aesthetic expression in the design is the pièce de résistance in the open office area – the innovative ceiling. This was designed using a collage of acoustic ceiling modules in three different shades and sizes. The modules are wrapped above the work area, leaving the corridor ceiling exposed, to create a striking contrast while maintaining a cohesive design theme.

Studio 5B Offices by Praxis, Mumbai – India

Hanging channels from the ceiling created an open floor plan for the office such that if the movable boards were not in use the entire office was a single spatial entity. The idea-lounge at the heart of the space has two casual living room arrangements to encourage teamwork.

The first step to the design was to carefully, consider the space and derive space efficient solutions with meticulous detailing that could optimize the client’s requirement. This design concept translated into a comfortable decor with neutral colors where use of color has been primarily attributed to complement the décor.

NEERUS – Next Gen Indian Ethnic store by FRDC, Mumbai – India

The concept is to embrace the Indian ethos, and yet provide an experience for today’s modern age customers. The store design embodies ‘athlethnic’ style- a transfusion of ‘Athleisure’ and ‘Ethnicity’. Inspired by traditional Indian courtyard house, the central space is created like an anchoring space around which all other spaces are laid out.

Work Better Office by The Crossboundaries, Mumbai – India

The workspace, shared by over 90 staff members needed to be compartmentalized into various departments. The basic idea for design hence stemmed from the need for an energetic, young space that would allow more integration within the workspace.

The inspiration for the visual character of the space was drawn from the trove of indigenous automobile elements, translated literally or metaphorically. The graphics from Tata’s futuristic hybrid car Megapixel are used sporadically across the office on screens, partitions and on branding elements.

The top surface of the cube is diagonally split to create backlit triangular apertures that transform in surface area. The level of the cube drives the area of the triangular aperture. Higher the level of the cube, larger is the surface area of the back-lit triangular aperture.

A palette of grey and cream marble, walnut veneer, gunpowder grey beams and columns, and white plaster and paint are carried throughout the office to create a uniform aesthetic. A formal language of angles and facets serve as the primary visual vocabulary at various scales.
