The Brain Embassy headquarters by mode:lina, Warszawa – Poland

Visitors to The Brain Embassy in Warsaw’s Mokotów are, from the very entrance, led right through the entire interior by three-dimensional elements, inspired by neurons and synapses. Just like impulses pass through them in our brain, steel synapses constructions pass through several The Brain Embassy zones, and link innovative areas of this co-creating.

The main display was located in a construction inspired by modern mountain shelters. It consists of two joints cabins with characteristic sloped roofs. Its façade was covered with dark wood, often seen in traditional mountain architecture. The interior walls were, in contrast, lined with pine plywood, which gave it a feeling of warmth.

Their 2017 expo pavilion, designed by mode:lina™ studio designers, has a light transparent form, referring to MILKE’s distinct visual identity system and its main element – a logo with a characteristic frame. This is why, transparent net facade of the pavilion reveals its wooden construction frames.

Combining mobile applications environment with Droids On Roids visual identity system was the main theme of our project. Apart from elements typical for mobile applications, the interior was given yellow features, which together with lamps in a shape of a zig-zag located all across the office, correspond with a lightning in Droids On Roids’ logo.

The designers chose a minimalist and transparent look exposing entire supply of the shop as well as get a sneak peek at sushi master at work through a glazed mezzanine. The colour scheme is inspired by the colours of traditional sushi rolls, black and white with a stripe of colourful triangles coherent with brand’s visual identity.

Jabłka Adama store by mode:lina, Poznań – Poland

Typical exposing table was exchanged for a stall on wheels, built with wooden frames. Similar to the stall, a customer service point was designed – it’s a simple, big wooden box. Wooden boxes, usually used for selling fruits, this time, they went on to store’s walls as an exposition.

The client had one, clear aim – to create surprising space using low-cost funds. Therefore, architects proposed replacement of normal partitions with unusual installation. These high walls are made of scaffolding covered with mesh banners and filled with OSB cubes.
