Concrete and the wood burned Shou Sugi Ban allied to the new apparent metallic structure arrived the intended language. The project sought to deal with the nature of Goose Island Brewhouse: joining brewery and bar, two distinct programs from sanitary to flow issues.

The entrance is via the garden: large sliding metal doors open in their entirety and create a total continuity between the central emptiness and the external space. The main space of the studio is cut by a concrete walkway suspended from the ceiling.
