The workspaces are arranged in rows along the centre of the salon with swivel Swan chairs by Arne Jacobsen for customers. One wall of the salon is lined with perforated steel screens, which illuminate at night along with the neon Clip signs at each entrance when the salon is closed.

The design inspiration came from nautical skeleton frames and the planning was done on 3d parametric software such as grasshopper. The bench is made of MDF plates and was cut with a CNC machine.

The clothing exhibition is done by four tubular stainless steel supports. Accessories are exposed on the bench just below the tubes, and at the sideboard and in the panel niche. The layout adopted allows the non-linear flow of customers, which can freely explore the space of the store, and on events days enables the rapid reconfiguration of the environment.

Men’s prêt-à-porter brand “maisontrois” asked us to create a very simple exhibition stand for hippest professional fashion show “Tranoï” in Paris. With almost no budget and a tiny surface which precise dimensions couldn’t be known until D-day, the brand wanted us to imagine a visually strong and nonetheless functional showcase for their clothes.

The floors are decorated with modern graphic patterns in pitch black. The furniture range is further enhanced with sizeable futuristic looking cashier’s desks, constructed from an eclectic mix of MDF and mesh steel.

The idea was to capture transparency and light in a rather dark space with limited natural light. The design is futuristic with a color palette in subtle, natural colors juxtaposed with harsh fluorescent lighting. Glass surfaces, light panels and walls are covered by illustrations and typography that capture fictional environments and people in motion.
