Mindcraft exhibition at Milan Design Week, Milan – Italy

A framework of bright yellow poles and matching cushioned seating set the scene for the Mindcraft exhibition of Danish craft at this year’s Milan design week. Curator Ditte Hammerstrøm’s selection for the annual exhibition of Danish design focused on tactility, sensuality and hands-on engagement.

Oyster chair by Arturo Tedeschi (A>T) + Mindesk VR

OYSTER chair is the first prototype designed using virtual reality techniques and manufactured through a 3D milling machine, remotely controlled. OYSTER anticipates future scenarios of smart working and features synergy between the expertise of Arturo Tedeschi in the field of generative modeling and the implementation of Mindesk’s Virtual Reality CAD interface.

Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan’s ‘sign machine’ installation will be causing a visible disruption to the Bulgari Hotel, from the 12th to 25th September, running throughout the London Design Festival.

With a sewing machine, the necessary storage and a cabinet to show the merchandise, such as buttons, threads and patches. Pieces finished by the tailors are presented on the rack for showcase, music comes from the amp provided by Marshall Amplification and we personally added the branded umbrella so all the hard tailoring work can be done in the shade.
