Outer Shoes store by Kube Arquitetura, Rio de Janeiro – Brasil

The proposal was to create a clean and neutral base, through cold materials and light colors. The floor received a gray porcelain tile, the walls in plaster received a white painting until a certain height, leaving the rest of the wall and the ceiling without finishing.

Now full of light and space, Candlefox HQ is a delight to work in. The goal of the project was to provide lots of light, develop bold identity in representation of the brand, and create a fun and flexible space fit for an individual or group of people.

The main space-forming element was the skeleton — a key element of Japanese aesthetics. The help of the whole factory was needed for its manufacture, and the total length of the pipes of the whole structure was almost five kilometers. In contrast to brutal, “street” materials such as brick and concrete, all furniture in the interior is smooth, tactile and made of natural materials — wood and plywood.
