FOODKURT restaurant by kplus konzept, Leipzig – Germany

Exposed copper pipes, concrete or tiles on walls and tables, lighting and furniture made of metal and wood in industrial style, give the restaurant authenticity and individuality. Even the floor offers surprising details – animal graphics worked into the plaster!

Within the rough concrete façade, the interior features green- and grey-hued walls lined with shelving composed of powder-coated metal and translucent glass tiles, reflective of the industrial uniformity that characterised Leipzig when Germany’s East and West were demarcated.

For sex, success and good looks – with this slogan of the multi-label concept Tayler, currently rapidly expanding in Germany’s east, and taking the Net Generation theme inspired by the interior mall design as a starting point, kplus konzept designed an interior that is as exciting as it is eye-catching.

Glass barriers and clear views now provide lightness and visual clarity; cubicles allow for concentrated working as do open break and meeting areas. Wooden flooring and shifted lines of sight visually expand the hallway.

The central conference platform, an acoustic wall as well as two smaller alcoves for meetings, break the spacious room into sections. Along the window front we placed classic desks. A lounge area in the back offers a comfortable setting for conversation.

Fleischerei Bar by Michael Grzesiak, Leipzig – Germany

The massive oak bar acts as the focal point, reflecting on the prevailing square theme. A long bench covered with laths of ash is integrated as a pure linear form along the main wall. The wooden elements break with the cold butchery atmosphere turning it into a pleasant environment to eat, drink and stay.
