English Town by Red5 Studio, Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam

Each cave is used in a different form, with different shapes and details of decoration, which makes students feel fresh and new whenever step into. Besides that, when students step out of the cave, the interactive space will be forest with trails, canopy, grass carpet … all expressed in stylized language, through materials, shapes, light. The circle divide the space in the classroom is the cave while the outside will be the space of the forest.

Lovely surprises await even in the washroom, including a custom-made design not dissimilar to buckets of water falling overhead which highlights the space, stimulates kid’s curiosity and invites interaction with space. It also wrapped around in sleek curvaceous walls which echo throughout the interiors.

Freenet Trading Center Campus by Preussisch Portugal, Hamburg – Germany

The Hamburg based design company Preussisch Portugal has created an inspiring interior design concept based on the sights of the city: the spacy entrance area resembles the Hamburg Harbour and meetings rooms are based on different parts of the city like the famous red light district „St. Pauli“, the Hanseatic villa district of „Blankenese“, the trendy „Schanze“ and an extensive botanic garden called „Planten un Bloomen“.

ATÖLYE team first developed a strategic spatial program for Sezin Schools, which included an unusually large teachers’ zone, a flexible events venue, a public meeting room dedicated to educational NGOs to foster partnerships, a makerlab with three sections (media lab, wood shop, bio lab) and small lounge booths for comfortable parent-teacher dialogue.

A variation of triangular shapes that determine the walls and openings of the stage also serve as structural elements of the project. The geometry of the roof follows the same principles, raising up to emphasize the location of the stage by means of a set of beams forming a parabolic structure.

There is a quirky amphitheatre for product and business launches, we created a tiered, organically shaped object to match the typography of the centre’s logo. This wavy structure is a nod to the concept of seafaring, doubling as a stage for presentations and panel discussions, as well as auditorium style seating when the centre hosts larger presentations and events.
