Charlotte’s Speakeasy by studioBIG, Farmingdale – New York

The design of the speakeasy carries through the colors and character of the yogurt shop and the historic wood-frame building that houses both establishments. Upstairs, sunny yellows and blues convey charm and hospitality; downstairs, glamorous gold and rich navy act as their sultry, adult versions. Dark wood and painted tin ceilings add to the effect.

Slam City Skates East store, London

Like the original Covent Garden storefront, the new shop is staffed by knowledgable skateboarders, but has also expanded to include a more diverse range of in-store exclusives as the likes of Patagonia outerwear and Clarks Originals footwear are featured alongside traditional skate garb.

The Manchester United Experience Retail by HEAD Architecture, Macau

Due to high ceiling heights, it was possible for a circular hole to be cut in the Experience floor and a circular mezzanine level to be built between the Mega store and Experience in the centre of the store.

The white and wood theme perfectly captures the label’s minimal-but-warm aesthetic. Entering on ground level the staircase drops from the middle of the room, with amazing slatted dividers rising up on either side.
