Clergerie boutiques by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, Paris and New York City

The Paris and New York stores feature a combination of softness and hardness, both in terms of forms and materials, creating a continuous dialogue and dialectic between the elements that compose them. The two new boutiques stand out for their unusual mix of materials, architectural elements with a strong visual impact and contrasting colours.

A series of chevron-shaped zinc panels has been attached to the ceiling and form a canopy of sorts that ties in with the metal shelving, cabinets and other furnishings below. Also to be found here is an interactive kiosk which also allows an immediate overview of the current collection.

Dior flagship store by Peter Marino, Chicago – Illinois

The setting on both floors is largely defined by a modern, clean aesthetic, captured by pristine white walls, timber flooring, cabinets and displays with glass tops, sleek chrome shelving and clothing racks. On the ground floor, Dior’s signature handbags are displayed, in addition to an assortment of small leather goods and accessories.

Dover Street Market, Singapore

The store occupies a 12,325 sq.ft. [1,145 sqm.] pavilion-like structure with a high ceiling – at well over 10 metre at its highest – that’s marked by a series of colourful giant arches. Mind you, it’s the first that time colour has been used architecturally in any of Dover Street Market’s stores.

The once influential merchant city may not be your typical shopping paradise, but in the realm of tourism Venice is firmly anchored in the upper ranks of Europe’s most destinations, luring plentiful of well-heeled globetrotters to its doorstep along the way. Situated right next the iconic Rialto bridge, the store holds court in an imposing 13th century building that once served as center of commerce between east and west, featuring no less than 7,000 sqm.

Clearly sequenced, the hundred and eighty square meters are subtly divided, as is often the case with Patchi stores, into separate universes: from an area with presentation boxes and countless other precious containers to the reception area, materialized by a copper desk with natural contours to the chocolate counter with its signature ebony walls.
