The mirrored sales counter opens the room to all sides and it is not immediately clear to you in which corner the room begins and ends. The combination of velvet and glass, bright yellow and the black / white stripes barely avoids looking away.

Candlefox Offices by Tom Robertson Architects, Melbourne – Australia

Accommodating around a twenty person staff, the space has been brought back to life with a range of work spaces, meeting rooms and and striking meandering garden. Now full of light and space, Candlefox HQ is a delight to work in. The goal of the project was to provide lots of light, develop bold identity in representation of the brand, and create a fun and flexible space fit for an individual or group of people.

Hotel Mono by SPACEDGE, Singapore

Designed by acclaimed local design studio SPACEDGE, the boutique property features just 46 rooms, including single rooms, double rooms, studio rooms, and even a family room. And yes, the black + white colour coding consistently extends to all of these pads and into the bathrooms.

Y-3 store, Manila – Philippines

Y-3’s fashion forward style is in demand across Asia. The brand responds with expansion in the region and opens up shop in Manila. Surprisingly, it shunned the usual retail locations and decided to launch in Bonifacio global city in Taguig, a leafy suburb in the southeast of the city.

Skygarden Lamp by Marcel Wanders

Dutch designer Marcel Wanders created this pendant lamp to transport the detail of an antique decorated plaster ceiling from one house to the next. Wanders nicknamed the relief Skygarden and was struck by how it beautiful it looked, even under artificial light. When he had to move from that house, he designed this lamp to take Skygarden with him.

The entire alphabet is represented in both upper and lower case versions, along with the numbers 0 through 9.
