The handmade lampshades, the tables and the wooden grid on the wall are made out of bamboo, a very sustainable and fast growing popular construction material in Asia. The petrol on the wall reminds of the pretty beaches of Thailand with it’s beautiful blue weather and it’s endless sky.

The furniture is a combination of old classic lounge and modern dining chairs. The wooden wall panels , the wooden chairs and tables, the decent blue wallcovering, and the light white lampshades provide coziness and authenticity.

The design is based on a wooden element which is 48 meters long and occupies the whole length of the room. Out of this element the central tables are formed in different heights. The wooden line symbolizes the traffic connection from north to south throughout the whole canton Uri.
