CliniCloud packaging by Elmarvcn Zyl

For CliniCloud ‘s retail packaging a sleeve is attached over the existing online packaging. A clear hierarchy is established using the brand design tools: golden ratio, pathways, framing and colour (mentioned in the ‘CliniCloud Brand Update’ project), which guide the viewer and provide clear and easy to absorb information to reinforce the retail sale.

A once fragmented set of packaging was overhauled to create a singular voice, confident yet appealing, with a much more powerful and consistent shelf presence. Moving into cans allowed 56 to compete at the level of the competition. Sales of beer both at the taproom and in retail have both drastically increased since the updated brand launched.

The main mission was to give class and personality to the product, for this reason we decided to keep the label with a simple design, playing with fonts and icons to achieve a harmonic and dynamic composition. Products are packaged into color divided groups based on their characteristics and the way they are used. By using each of them, there is (basically) a single sensation through which a person experiences this product, so we have those who are experiencing touch (hand-cream, labels, bath salt…), smell (spices, candles…), flavor (sauces, candies, wine…), vision (visually rich Croatian illustrations in coloring book, puzzles, notebook, magnet clips, coasters etc.).

Calea wants to be a premium brand that is why I have used a black and white colour scheme and a minimalistic packaging design. I have used photographs presenting the basic ingredients of cosmetics: activated charcoal from walnut shells and rosehip petals to match the image of the brand.
