Acne studios flagship store, Milan – Italy

Inside, a contrasting modern and understated interior unfolds, captured by walls clad in sheets of shiny stainless steel and flooring of rosa baveno, a soft pink granite that’s quarried up north in the Lombardy region. The stuccoed ceiling has been dipped in a somewhat bolder pink hue, and forms the backdrop of a custom-made, futuristic lighting installation.

Customers can relax on the semi-circular shaped bench below the tree and look up through the skylight, which offers glimpses of palm trees outside from some angles. “An interior garden contributes calm and brings a mannered sense of nature into the scene,” said the studio. “The tree is planted under a skylight that mirrors the turf/bench circle and filters sunshine into the space.”

Our solution to create a deeper space for this 82 square meters project and its special pole structure is choosing denim blue as the main tone for fitting area at the end and metallic gold to highlights cashier counter, logo and custom-design objects. Finally, the play of 3D wall behind the counter and the entire look in front will impress the customer from the first sight.

The Abeyance store, Portland – Oregon

Called the Abeyance, meaning a pause of sort and usually in a legal situation, Phillips aims to create a pause, if not a meditative moment that enables one to find new balance in the volatile realm of fashion. The retail space measures 850 sq.ft. and boasts a clean aesthetic of whitewashed walls, paired with timber planking, simple wooden furnishings and steel clothing racks.

KAOS flagship store by Fabio Caselli Design, Florence – Italy

KAOS is accompanied by contemporary materials, such as black varnished iron for the slim and elegant columns and the 1950’s inspired tables, transparent crystals, white varnished retro glass, and finally the slightly unfinished “warm” wood used for all supporting parts.

The main differential of the project is the flexibility of the store, from versatile structures that may change with each new product cycle. The store has a suspended system of rails, where the macaws are engaged and can run through the store, making it possible to change store layout.

Missguided store at Bluewater by Dalziel & Pow, Stone – UK

Unique to the Bluewater site is a carnivalesque ‘house of mirrors’ effect in which the digital content reflects on the mirrored ceiling, as if continuing infinitely. The effect is a magical, illusionistic fairground feel that Missguided’s customers will be excited to explore.

The floor is made of two-colored poured concrete (copper-colored and beige), highlighting the different areas of the store. The presence of logos inside the store has been minimized in favor of discrete reminders within the architecture and the furniture design themselves.

This Cuesta Blanca experience starts at the facade which screams Luxury and impact to insure any one walking by won’t resist entering the store. The materialization of the facade required a mixture of mediums; brass, glass, mirror and gold led to contrast with the old brickwall of the mall structure.

Comprising of a simple construction of five steel bars, x-shaped at either end and connected horizontally, this specific object has been abundantly duplicated to construct an installation, entitled unbounded, that fully transposes its original purpose. No less than 91 steel modules have been pre-assembled and allow endless configurations.
