Gum Salon located in Milan used quite a few traditional elements but have created a really modern feel through the monochromatic colour scheme. The black tile, painted brick and Hollywood dressing room style lighting are all very simple but come together beautifully.

The core concept for the store was an abstract, gallery-like white box into which a series of detailed, textural installations would be placed. The key Mulberry pieces – the brass folly and a monolithic service desk – have been imported from the New Bond Street design to Spring Street.

Stills flagship store by Doepel Strijkers Architects, Amsterdam

On the Cornelis Schuijtstraat in Amsterdam a flagship store has been realized for the label Stills. The spatial interventions in the hull, which visually connects the floors, are not emphasized by smoothing them but has been kept visible to show additions and finishing layers over time.

Hair Very Salon by MAKER, Hiroshima

We made the hair salon which has both of privacy and expanding of the inside compact space with the function of hair salon. The wall separating the spaces for each function is the height of waist, and the upper part is a fabric of the transparent material.

Lapoma Lapera store by Jordivayreda, Empuriabrava

With the design of a spectacular central wardrobe Jordivayreda Projectteam united two existing shops to obtain a spatial unity. The study of the strong light intensity leaves them with a bi colour solution: black and white. To reflect the light with a white continuous pavement and controlling the reflection with the intention to illuiminate the space from the floor and that the white wooden lines on the ceiling act as a reflective screen.

A quaint storefront in Ginza, Japan has been transformed into ‘Aesop Ginza’, a beauty retail shop by japanese practice Schemata Architecture Office. The original masonry facade and stairway for the upper level tenants was retained and carried into the interior of the 38 square meter space, integrating the material into the product display shelves.
