On the second floor, its function wanders between display and living room. The soft white window gauze builds a comfortable and gentle shopping experience. You can flip through VOGUE sitting in the Wegner shell chair or have small talks, slumping in the peacock blue vintage sofa in the VIP room.

Other noteworthy installation is the storefront signage, featuring intricate details of the A&F logo – which was designed and fabricated directly from the United States. The fitting rooms include exclusive private suites and cash wraps were also built throughout the store to enable speedy checkout experience.

The monochrome palette is matchingly captured by perforated metal, faux stone surfaces and slabs of mirror. Interestingly, a vintage stereo system by iconic industrial designer Dieter Rams adorns a corner of the premises as a rather fitting art installation.

The biggest challenge was to find solution with ceiling with different height of six meters. That was solved with structural metal construction connected with lightning – that not only created eye catching view in the front of the shop but has formed lower ceiling as well.

The interior is made by famous Czech designers Lenka Damová and Boris Klimek. They created light, spacey, slightly industrial and highly functional venue where the customers feel good. They worked with premium materials only and added some signature pieces: solitaire clothing stands looking like oversized shopping bags and tables in the form of shoe boxes.

Dior store, Berlin – Germany

The store features a monochrome palette, and is dotted with furnishings made from recycled materials by designer Stefan Leo, and pastel-coloured paintings of artist Jan Kaláb adorn the walls.

Teätora store, Tokyo – Japan

The interior design is an extrapolation from Teätora’s core values, featuring a no-frills aesthetic that’s framed by whitewashed walls and ceiling, and a floor of polished concrete. Furnishings are sparse, comprising mostly of black steel clothing racks and rows of suspended tubular lights that heighten the industrial feel of the space.

It is a minimalist and deliberately simple and clear space in which the product is not “killed” by design. The chosen aesthetic of the Maximilian Basic shop is predominantly defined by light colors and simple materials, such as wood, glass, acrylic and black metal.

Kloke store by David Goss, Melbourne – Australia

Behind a wooden frame and a floor-to-ceiling glass façade, local architect David Goss created an understated setting which has clearly taken cues from Brutalist Architecture, featuring stuccoed walls and ceiling, molded into single aesthetic entity with incisions and protrusions that make these seem part of the building.
