Buoono food hall by Giancarlo Volpini, Verona – Italy

July 11th, 2017 by Camra’s blog

Buoono is located in the historic centre of Verona, just 100m far from the Arena. Buoono has been designed as a food hall in a little space (60 sqm). Each module is designed as a kiosk and offers a specific kind of food: coffee, salads, piadina and drinks. Materials has been selected to match several themes: “warm” walnut wood and black granite for the coffee area, “fresh” white Corian and aluminum for the salad bar, and “natural” white oak for the piadina-module, with the typical coloured stripes of the piadina huts in Italy. Tables and chairs are mixed and look like un-designed; old-fashioned signage make the hole space more dynamic and attractive.
