Tempur store by William van Esveld, Amsterdam – The Netherlands

January 11th, 2017 by Camra’s blog

William van Esveld is a product and interior designer with a practice in Amsterdam. A new designed flagship store recently opened in Amsterdam for Tempur. The design concept and brand identity for the store was developed to create a spacious and sound absorbing landscape that breathes a hotel atmosphere combined with new Scandinavian flare, the origin of the brand.

The 400 m2 retail space is divided into different zones that include several “bedrooms”, providing customers with a unique experience in comfort whilst highlighting the quality of the Tempur products .

The lounge area has been created to allow customers to relax, have a drink and to gather information from either documentation or online. The several experience ‘bedrooms’ allows customers to try out the different types of mattresses. A small boutigue is added for cushions, where customers can test the cushions at home before purchasing.
