AER Acrylic Tableware Collection by DUA

January 11th, 2017 by Camra’s blog

This Vase & Fruit Bowl were designed as part of the AER Acrylic Tableware collection. It is constructed from 4 mm acrylic and bonded together with translucent glue which cures in white light. The collection experiments with the idea of suspending objects in space and were inspired by air bubbles in water.

The collection has intriguing optical qualities which manifest themselves through the refractions and reflections of light which are at play.
