The Lychee take away restaurant by barmade Interior Design, Lucerne – Switzerland

October 22nd, 2016 by Camra’s blog

An old kebab shop has been transformed to an authentic small thai take away restaurant. With a strong interior design concept from barmade AG and a lot of effort from the owner, the project cost could be held low without any notable restriction on the restaurant design. The interior design concept was also the basis for the corporate design. Fresh, light and a bit dreamy is the restaurant situated on a busy highway in a suburb of Lucerne. It appears like a little oasis somewhere along the monotonic road. It serves nice and authentic thai cuisine and a lot of lychee specials.

The handmade lampshades, the tables and the wooden grid on the wall are made out of bamboo, a very sustainable and fast growing popular construction material in Asia. The petrol on the wall reminds of the pretty beaches of Thailand with it’s beautiful blue weather and it’s endless sky. The golden ornament on the wall with it’s small pink lychees enclose the corporate with the interior design. The Lychee is a small take away, in which you get in and want to stay.
